Home Town Fair Tap Performance - El Segundo, CA

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing a local El Segundo tap class' tap routine during the Home Town Fair. They've been practicing very hard for weeks and it was amazing to see the finished product culminating in two tap routines. One of my favorite parts of the performance was the incorporation of yellow rain coats and umbrellas into their closing number of "Singin' in the Rain". 

I was especially proud of the dance troupe since my mother is a member and has been with them for years. She and her dance troupe performed wonderfully and they are all so humble in their talent, dedication and skills. I was so happy to see the large crowd give them the attention they justly deserved. 

I was also very humbled to have my mom ask me to photograph her performance. For most of my life, she's been the family photographer, always taking capturing memories and so often always behind the camera. Her asking me me to photograph an important event in her life was very touching for me. 

Great job ladies (and Mom), I'm looking forward to many more performances!
