Hunter and Sam's Engagement Photoshoot - Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, CA

I was over the moon when Hunter and Sam, my good friends from Loyola Marymount University, asked me to film their engagement and Save The Date photographs for their upcoming wedding!

I met Hunter and Samantha at LMU, where we spent four years studying Film and TV Production and making films together. They are two of our closest friends, and Hunter was a groomsman at my wedding! We were absolutely ecstatic when Hunter asked Sam to marry him. He proposed in Paris, France, in front of the Eiffel Tower, with a ring that he hand designed himself, drawn in his notebook and then he brought the design to a jeweler, who crafted it into the ring Sam now wears. Talk about custom made!

We arrived at the engagement photo shoot off with the two of them together with the Loyola Marymount Sacred Heart Chapel in the background.

Once again we worked with the lovely Sondra, from The Lovely Line Shop, and she created a beautiful hand-drawn sign for Hunter and Sam. The sign contained their most important dates for their relationship. The sign had the day they first met, the date of their 1st date, their engagement date and the date of their upcoming wedding! It was absolutely perfect for the engagement photo shoot and we also used some of Sondra's smaller signs in the images!

We then went on a journey throughout LMU and memory lane. We walked to the Sacred Chapel and took some portraits by the giant front door. We then headed over to The Lion's Den, the school cafe, and Hunter and Sam sat in the exact seats and spot where they would eat almost on the daily together, back during our time at LMU.

After emerging victorious from the Lion's Den portraits, we headed over to the famous Loyola Marymount Bluff and captured some beautiful sun photos.

Not wanting to miss any of the locations at LMU, we hurried along to the bridge leading to (my favorite building) University Hall, which Hunter and Sam would walk on together get to class.

We then headed back to our old stomping grounds, the School of Film and TV. The three of us spent a majority of our time in this building during our stay at LMU. Be it directing, editing, cinematography, set building, screenwriting and producing, it was all done inside the School of Film and Television.

Reaching the end of the photoshoot, Hunter and Sam found Sam's old apartment, where Hunter would come over to, almost daily, when she lived there at LMU. It was a very HOT day that day and the current LMU students living in the apartment were kind enough to let us close their door, so we could capture Hunter and Sam in front of the lettered door. The images turned out fantastic, and we all so appreciate them helping us out!

Hunter and Sam were amazing models for this engagement photo shoot and I can't thank them enough for asking me to be the photographer for it. It was a wonderful walk down memory lane with the two of them, and I am so lucky to have them as close friends. We are so excited for their wedding and wish them all the happiness in the world!
